THE MF&E Program's VARIOUS BUSINESS MODELS OF GOOD HARVEST

To effectively enable the objective of the company’s Mango Farming and Exporting Programs of Democratizing the Mango Industry of the Country and at the same time compliment its own inventory, Good Harvest has developed a wide range of Mango Farming business models aimed at attracting a wider range of clients or participants in Mango Farming. These various business models are as follows:

    GH CONTRACT FARMING BUSINESS
One of Good Harvest business focus is Turnkey Contract Mango Farming for Export - where it is tasked with planting and nurturing any number of export-variety mango trees and endemic forest trees.

A program Good Harvest is a part of as Farm Service Provider is the Export-Focused Mango Farming Business Program of its COOPERATIVE partner, the Mango Producers Dev Multi-Purpose Cooperative (or Cooperative, for short). Thru its program, the Cooperative is involved in and promotes Export-Focused Mango Farming with Good Harvest as its export-oriented Farm Service Provider. The program is open to all existing and incoming member of the Cooperative. As the Cooperative’s Service Provider, Good Harvest provides its renowned brand of Export-focused, Hassle Free Mango Farming given to the Cooperative’s inventory and that of its member-partners and buyers. The Cooperative extends its program thru the marketing and selling of its product – dubbed; MangoNegosyo (Export-Focused Mango Farming Business) which is anchored on the renowned and award winning farm services provided by Good Harvest on their mango tree inventories. As land is NOT sold, anyone from anywhere can go into Mango Farming for Export - thru the Cooperative’s business program, thus excellent not only for its existing and incoming coop members but for other entities including local and foreign firms who wish to have their own Philippine super mango plantation/ tree inventories.

Through this business program of the Cooperative, Good Harvest role is focused solely in providing global standard farm services for different engagements, sales and partnerships forged by the MPD Multi-Purpose Cooperative.
Note: Good Harvest does not participate nor is it directly involve in marketing or selling its farm services or the ‘mangonegosyo’ business of the Cooperative. Its role is strictly as service provider.

    GH ORCHARD DEVELOPMENT PROFIT CENTERS
Good Harvest’s Orchard Profit Center business, simply put, is the outright sale of a fully functional and optimum quality clustered mango trees inclusive of the strict gene pool selection of only 100% exportable variety mango trees, its appropriate management and care  and the titled land the trees are planted on. (Turnkey model)

    GH FARM RESIDENTIAL PROJECTS
This Good Harvest business model involves the development of “Mangoes for profit” type farm residential projects. A cluster of Good Harvest mango trees are planted and nurtured through Good Harvest’s patented Mango Farming Services and Technology (MFS&T) in every Lot. The end result of which would be akin to buying a property that is self liquidating and earning because the harvest and export of the trees’ produce, year after year, for several decades. The development will be pursued using Good Harvest corporate land inventories or through joint venture partnerships with land owners and/or property developers. The first project, The Mango Ranch Leisure and Farm Estates - under this business model is slated this year.

GOOD HARVEST FARM MANAGEMENT SERVICES (FMS)
The Good Harvest brand of agro-services, its unique and patented 12 POINT FS&T, strives to advance and professionalize farm management in the country. Known throughout the agricultural sector for their keen attention to technological advancement and strict attention to farm management systems in the cultivation and propagation of various fruit bearing (specifically Philippine Super Mangoes) and forest trees, Good Harvest’s FMS aims to contribute greatly to better production and harvest ratios for a wide range of agricultural products and help propel farm owners and their workforce to achieve a better quality of harvest in the shortest amount of time possible.

    GOOD HARVEST AGRO-FORESTRY-CARBON OFFSETTING MODEL
This Business Model bundles together export-variety Mango Trees (as the Agro component) and a high volume of endemic Forest Trees inventories for a sustainable, cost-effective and gainful tree planting project package for environment-conscious individuals, corporations and organizations.  Under this  model, as low as 5% to 10% of the inventory planted are GH  export-variety Mango Trees and the rest, endemic forest trees for the client-partner’s tree planting-carbon offsetting measure.  For example, for every thousand (1000) forest trees, a hundred (100) mango trees are planted.  The model enables companies to recover their cost through the harvest income derived from the export-type mango trees nurtured by Good Harvest.  What normally is an expense becomes a lucrative investment on the environment. The R.O.I. can also be earmarked for future tree planting inventories resulting in a non-ending replication for higher credits. For Good Harvest, the model help add to its mango farming objective but at the same time helps more aggressively in the sustainable reforestation drive of the government.  Through this Program, up to three (3) Million Forest Trees are projected to be planted.
