The Good Harvest Model Orchard is situated in Bagac, Bataan. It is approximately a 2 hour and a half drive north from the center of Manila. It's area is expandable to more or less three thousand (3,000) Hectares. Side by side with tens of thousands of Super Mango Trees are Thousands of Forest Trees (which are primarily use for windbreaks)

Intercrops such as vegetables, cutflower and other fruiting trees are also introduced and interspersed with super mango trees.

Good Harvest Orchard Director is Nationally acclaimed Mango Farming Expert ... Mr.Antonio Rola. Mr. Rola is also better known as the "The Dean of Philippine Mango Farming". He is also the Chairman of the Philippines National Mango Action Team.

From Mr. Tony Rola comes the following words..(on the usefulness of forest trees interspersed with the Super Mango Trees.)

"The positive influence of forest intercrops is primarily as effective windbreakers. It provides a multicropping environment which serves as biosecurity for the Super Mango Trees. It also adds up to the carbon sink capability of the entire orchard, which serves as a fuel source of the Orchard retinue and the community nearby. The forest trees is also a good and profitable by-product of the orchard and shall be a good source of high quality poles and lumber. Last but not the least, its roots will hold well the soil and the deep channels will allow more water to be held and slowly released into the site's streams while the decaying leaves will add to the orchards soil fertility."

-Antonio Rola, Good Harvest Orchard Director

Other locations of Good Harvest Orchards in the future are Zambales, Nueva Ecija, (for Luzon) Iloilo/Guimaras, (for Visayas) and Cagayan De Oro / Bukidnon Area ( for Mindanao)
